Supporting Tacoma Students Through "Stuff the Bus"
On August 20, the Northwest WSPA team joined Communities In Schools and WSPA member U.S. Oil for the annual Stuff the Bus volunteer event in Tacoma, Washington. The goal was simple but meaningful: to ensure local students from elementary through high school start the school year with the supplies they need and the confidence to succeed.
Ahead of the event, the Shared Energy Future Foundation (SEFF) donated 75 heavy-duty backpacks and female hygiene supplies, based on a wish list provided by the organizers. Volunteers spent the day assembling and packing the backpacks, which were then distributed to students facing economic challenges.
SEFF is proud to support local programs like Stuff the Bus that make a real difference. Together with our partners, we are building stronger communities by giving students the tools to thrive.
